Saul Steingberg Audi Q5
I come across a very imaginative idea Steingberg created. using a drawing that is stretched across the walls of a box
In 2008 the car company Audi produced an advert which was made in stop motion. They used Steinberg's man in the box to create there advert.

After researching into my scene, style set and genre i then went into creating character ideas. I looked more into Saul Steinberg's style as i found it hard to go from my style of drawing to his, i reckon I didn't do to bad with a few sketches below..

yes yes yes yes no
With are brief set we was then paired up in a group of three. Completely random choises Kathy paired me up with Laura and Lee.
Uss three went to the library to discuss our ideas of what we are actually going to create for a years project. I thought of an idea of how horrible and bad the seagulls are down my home town in St.ives, and how we could actually create a story with them...
We all come to the conclusion of going for my choise. We thought a pirate as the mian character and a group of angry seagulls. we got started on designing rough storyboards.
after getting the story of what we actually want we then set our selfs aftrer another group meeting of who is doing who..we decided Lee of designs some seagulls, Laura creating backgrounds and me creating the pirate. i started creating some pirate sketches.

My first job for money!
i randomly had a phone call off a woman in redruth asking me if i could design a cartoon illustration for her boss who will be leaving. She gave me an image of him and she wanted me to incorporate a washing object that they produce at there industry.
The woman who got a hold of me actually found me by going to my old teacher from four years in college. he gave her my number which made me very surprised he chose me!. I decided in the end to just go in for the actual A3 peice she was wanted, instead of sketching and planning before.
It took me a few days to complete and i was happy with the outcome. i ended up getting £40 which is not to shabby!
