DADA project

We started off by each of uss giving ideas to see what we could come up with. we had ideas blasting out on paper but there wasn't any solid ground to base the sequence on.
after many meetings we evetually came up with a brilliant idea!
we decided that the only way to get an idea of what mood, pace atmosphere and aesthetics we wanted for the piece we would need to create a soundtrack to work from.

This soundtrack idea was set up ready to be started and we come to the conclusion that the soundtrack must be made from house hold appliances and just anything we could get our hands on that wasn't an actaul instrument.
using anything we could find around our kitchens we began recording any sounds that had potential in creating a beat.

It became clear from the sound track that we created, that the tempo was at a marching pace and sounded a lot like a marching group of machine like creatures.
with this in mind we decided that we wanted the animation to be based on Dada inspired creatures whose sole purpose is to take art to a destruction  factory, were it is reproduced as Dada work.
This is to reflect the distaste that Dada 'artists' for art.
